From our early beginnings in advertising to developing comprehensive brand management software, Pica9 has grown in size and ambition to provide companies a SaaS platform to manage and scale their brands across distributed networks: CampaignDrive.
Pica9 started in the world of the ad agency studio, where for generations graphic artists struggled to resize and localize ads to fit columns as narrow as nine picas, or 1.5”. Pica9 was born and now connotes the precision we believe brand management demands and local establishments deserve.

Kevin Groome

Founder, Chief Evangelist

Kevin is a serial entrepreneur, award-winning creative director and enterprise software architect. Prior to founding Pica9 in 2001, Kevin served as Executive Creative Director for an advertising firm that served some of the best-known names in high technology. He has written and spoken extensively on marketing technology topics for publications and websites including ZDNet, ClickZ Network and IDG, among others. 

David Elkins

Co-Founder, VP of R&D

David developed the core processing engine of CampaignDrive and plays numerous roles at the firm. He is involved in the day to day development initiatives and the overall management of the platform.

Rachel Berman

VP of Product

Rachel has held multiple roles throughout the company, starting in 2011. Throughout her career, she has held client, project, and product management roles. Her current focus is to identify and execute features that bring unrivaled value to customers.

Julia Chellew-Glick

VP of Finance

Julia is responsible for the company’s finance and HR functions and works with department heads to ensure the continued growth and financial health of Pica9. She has spent her career working in finance serving young software companies. She brings her experience in finance operations and building finance teams.

Dominic Le Claire

VP of Sales

As the leader of Pica9’s sales organization, Dominic’s directive is to rapidly grow new business revenue through installing rigorous SaaS Sales methodologies and processes. With an emphasis on logo and enterprise account acquisition, he is focused on making Pica9 and CampaignDrive industry leaders. Dominic was educated in England and has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in North America, the UK and Australia. Specializing in Enterprise SaaS Sales, Marketing Automation and Data Driven Applications, he brings a depth of Sales knowledge and experience to Pica9.

Jim DeSocio

Corporate Board, Chairman

A proud graduate of Rutgers University, Jim comes to Pica9 with extensive experience in sales, marketing, international operations, mergers and acquisitions. He has over 20 years of experience managing and growing high tech, SaaS sales organizations. Currently Jim is the CEO of  Intellinetics, and previous to that, Jim  was Chief Revenue Officer at Relayware. Jim also served in executive leadership positions at XRS Corp., Antenna Software, and Lawson Software. 

John Buckner, Jr.

Corporate Board, Director

John Buckner Jr. brings more than 20 years of management experience to Pica9 with vast amounts of experience in the information technology industry. He joined Pica9 in 2007 as COO after leading a $3 million angel investment round that engendered a reconstituted Board and new management team.

John Knowles Buckner

Corporate Board, Director

Dr. Buckner celebrates more than 50 years of professional experience in management and technology, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Dr. Buckner has been an active leader in his community, having served on several local governance committees and numerous small company boards. He has contributed articles on engineering, data analysis, and systems to professional journals. He is a member of Sigma Xi, Phi Beta Kappa and Chi Psi. Dr. Buckner has been recognized as an Atomic Energy Commission Special Fellow of nuclear science and engineering. He has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the West.

Jeff Nickerson

Corporate Board, Director

Dr. Jeffrey V. Nickerson is an Associate Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology in the Wesley J. Howe School of Technology Management. He directs the Center for Decision Technologies, which is funded by the National Science Foundation and the Office of Naval Research. He also teaches a graduate course called Integrating Information Systems Technologies, which focuses on large-scale information system design. Professor Nickerson has published over 50 scholarly articles.
  • The Product Management team is dedicated to creating superior products for our customers. We are a group of creative thinkers who are value-driven, agile, and open-minded. We put user experience at the forefront and are dedicated to finding creative ways to solve our customer’s challenges.

  • The various Engineering teams continually develop creative engineering solutions to deliver enhanced value for our clients. We approach development using Agile methodologies and principles to continuously improve CampaignDrive and fulfill business requirements.

  • The mission of the Production department is to build intelligent and innovative template architectures and content management solutions that help our customers maintain brand integrity while providing local marketers with the optimal combination of flexibility and ease of use.

  • The Customer Success team is focused on ensuring all customers realize the value of CampaignDrive. Customer Success Managers (CSM) meet with customers regularly to evaluate progress against their goals and address any business changes that may affect CampaignDrive.

  • The Pica9 Marketing team plays in a fundamental role in developing positioning and strategy as well as promoting CampaignDrive. Through research, we work to understand the industry challenges, and where we can provide the most value with our product.
